Woogaroo Swimming Club is located within the Goodna Aquatic Centre.
Woogaroo Swimmming Club held it's inaugural meeting on 22 April, 1974. Peter Scholes was elected as the Club's first President, a position he held for two years. The main driving force behind the formation of the club was Serge Ruggeri, a teacher at Goodna State School, where the club was originally located. The Club moved to the Goodna Aquatic Centre in 2005, where in 2011 it sustained significant damage in the January floods. Thanks to the government funding and the support of the local community and members we are well on our way to a full recovery. Our current President is former Olympian - Justin Lemberg.
